My second video edit at college use Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015

We was given the task off editing the stock video that come on a new windows computer or laptop and cutting out all the other clips that are not not of the birds and then over lay the original music from the file.

We was also told to add a title and credits to say what the clip is and who edit it.

What i did wrong was i forgot to cut a huge blank bit at the end so that why from 11 seconds to 23 seconds at the end. the tuter said because i edit it on the time line not the preview box it thort i still had the full length clip when it render.

I also didn't know how to cut the audio file from the video in the preview screen so i put it on the timeline and separate the sound file from the clip and remove the video and line up the audio file up with the beginning of the clips and crop out the one end of the file so it would fit perfectly

Question about my roll in our short interview

1: Which professional role is closest to the part you played in this mini production

I was the Camera man( the camera was a canon xf-100)

2: What went wrong?

Our audio was to quite and we have a lot of background sounds and not a lot of clips.

3: If you were to do the same task again, what would be the one thing you would change or add.

Better location, a lot quiter for background audio, tri pod to reduce the camera shakiness.

So they decided to give use cameras let us run around to interview people on what what forms of social Media they use.

Me and Adam sort of fail when it came to interviewing. we made one mistake and didn't clear the SD card in our camera and it end up  only recording a small amount of people and a little but of random clips as we was trying to get the camera working.

I have this thing against apple products and today prove my point i can not work with any apple products by doing 3 things:
1. The mac lock me out becose i put my password in wrong ones.
2. The video editing software on there is harder to use than Sony Vegas pro 13 or movie maker.... yeah i still use that some days.... but that manly for editing on my laptop when i am away from home.
3. It wont let me transfer video files for the mac to my hard drive with out formatting it and that a pain in the ass as it a apple product and the don't make it straight forwarded.

I finally finish editing the clips we had in to a short 1 minute 23 second video. 23 seconds over the limit.

I still will not say it was a compliant fail.

 We was given a brief saying that we have to make a egg basket to protect a egg from a fall of 6 foot and then make a short so seconds radio ad to promote our egg basket.

I made the triangle that keeps the parachute open. if not it wouldn't of made the the short drop.

The name of the off our egg basket was the egg carrier which is a reference to sonic the hedgehog.

I forgot what we wrote for our short radio ad, but we made everyone laugh with the funny voice impressions and the random and morbid sense of humour to posting you a box of live bees instead of the egg carrier.
